BMW Drivers in Protest at Lack of Disabled Parking Spaces

bmw disabled parkingReaders of BMW Today magazine have sent petitions to councils and major supermarket chains today, complaining about the ‘disgraceful’ lack of disabled parking bays.

Their major concern was that, whenever they needed to park, the two or three disabled bays provided were already occupied by other BMW’s.

“When I drive somewhere I need to be able to park quickly – and within six paces of my destination.” One disgruntled BMW driver told us. “After all, I will be doing something very important.”

“I wouldn’t be driving a beamer if I wasn’t doing more important things than you, would I?”  He explained.

“Disabled people probably never do anything important. They’ve got all the time in the world to hobble or roll from the back of a car park.”

BMW Today has advised its readers to continue parking across at least two regular spaces until their battle for extra disabled bays is won.
