If you get your Southport news from other sources, you may be unaware that, occasionally, a driver does make it from one place to another in the town without incident.
For example, Churchtown resident, Tricia Halsall, made it all the way to Aldi and back in one piece today.
“I left my house about half past ten this morning.” Tricia explained. “It wasn’t a big shop mind. I do my big shop at Morrisons on a Friday. I was just picking up a few bits.”
“And then I drove home again.”
Apparently, Tricia didn’t get a single scratch on her Y reg Focus.
“Not even a near miss, or any particularly hard braking,” She confirmed.
